Old Movie Magic

OLD MOVIE MAGIC

"Once upon a time, the great film studios of old Hollywood built theatres the like of which no one had ever seen before. They had marble columns that soared to ceilings covered in gold leaf, bronze railings, rich red tapestries and plush carpets. And they were huge, with thousands of seats."

When Heather Hutchinson and her lovely mother, Judy met with me for their floral consultation, I was thrilled to find out Heather's wedding was to take place in Jersey City's most magical venue,The Landmark Loew's Jersey TheaterWhile wanting to emulate old Hollywood glamour, we knew we were working with a Grand Movie Palace whose decor was over the top and needed just the right floral decor.

.Rubbed bronze urns filled with juicy orange & deep burgundy dahlias with green hydrangeas and pomegranates were set at some tables, while gold bouquets Japanese Oncidium orchids cascaded over others.

The bride carried a loosely composed bouquet of dahlias, ranunculas, and succulents, dripping with dusty miller and pink pepper berries. The groom wore a matching succulent boutonierre.

And like most great Hollywood Movie Endings

Cool Wedding reception venue. Do they also house ceremonies? I love the bouquet. I've never seen anything like it before.
