Spring has Sprung!
Spring has sprung, and its here in full force!
This season, each day holds something new for us. Flowers have begun to bloom, and trees have started to re-leaf, which is such a relief from Winter's harsh chill.
A time for renewal, growth, and new life, this is also the best time to get out and start a garden. If you don't have a green thumb, you can start with beautifying your front stoop or porch. Sweep up your space, roll up your sleeves and get your hands in some dirt! I love the look of geranium and trailing ivy. Not only do the bright red geranium look great against brownstones, but they also repel pesky flies.
This is the best time to start beautifying your urban garden. Irena Lester, Antheia Staff designer, and owner of IGLGarden, and recommends container gardens of perennial plants like primula, sedum, or begonia.
