September wedding of Laura & Tom

I loved this wedding because the bride wanted to keep it simple and original. She wanted a very natural look and loved pink astilbe. We used astilbe, yarrow, and Green Eye roses for her bouquet; astilbe and grasses for the bridesmaids, and a made a simple astilbe boutonniere for the groom. Everything was tied with earthy green satin ribbon and accented with raffia.

Lauren & Rich: Something Blue, Something New.

We has the honor of providing flowers for Lauren and Rich on a nice and breezy day in July.

The floral color palette of blue, purple, white, green, and cream complimented the navy bridal party dresses and we used non-traditional bridal flowers for the bouquets.

Pictured left, the bouquet featured silver brunia, lisianthus, roses, echinops, chrysanthemum, geranium, and lemon leaf.

Just Lovely...

This month, we had the pleasure of providing flowers for Anna and Dan. From their pleasant personalities to their impeccable taste, this couple was just amazing! We loved every minute of working with and for them to make their day special.

Of course, we were also in love with the flowers for this wedding! The summer palette of peach, green, and pink and yellow was delicious and the ribbon (provided by Anna) was a beautifully elegant touch. Here is a still shot of Anna's Bouquet from the video by Atlantica Pictures:

Sunday Wedding Featuring Something Blue

We were honored to provide the flowers for a loveley wedding this afternoon at Liberty House in Jersey City.

The lovely, soft palette of white, blue and green was perfect for the summer Sunday evening, take a peek:

Clockwise from top: (1) The Groom and Groomsmen wore boutonnieres of single echinops with a simple green leaf accent. (2) The Bridesmaids carried a bouquet with a lovely mix of chrysanthemum, echinops, dusty miller, and super grren roses. (3) The Bride's bouquet featured a stunning collection of succulents, lisianthus, Queen Anne's Lace, Jade roses, echinops and geranium. (4) Mason Jars filled with Chrysanthemum and Echinops hanging from Shepard's poles welcomed the guests to the cermony, and (5) the aisle was lined with a burlap runner to comeplete the rustic chic feel.

Growing up, my grandmother's collection of mason jars in her basement held everything from pickled vegetables to her homemade black raspberry jelly. I still cherish one of her jars bearing a tiny label held with brittle tape that reads "butter beans '77."
